Brave Spark team up with HSBC and a bank full of hidden cameras, to whisk an unsuspecting couple off to Paris.

To promote HSBC's new one day mortgage approval process, we surprised a real-life (and very unsuspecting) couple in a HSBC branch, taking them on a surprise trip to Paris whilst HSBC reviewed their mortgage application. All in a day's work…

Using hidden cameras and go-pros, our aim was to bring HSBC customers a film that felt as genuine, real and relatable as possible.

We showed the couple around sites and city, took them to the Eiffel Tower, checking them into a fancy hotel, before finally receiving a call from a HSBC bank manager to say their mortgage had been approved.

Filmed all in a day – this was as close to the real-life process as we could get…
